Nexus Market security slider — Tor Browser configuration

The Tor Browser security slider has three positions. For Nexus Market access, only one is correct.

The slider is on Safest. Not Standard, not Safer, not “whatever was set when I installed Tor.” Safest, deliberately. The full breakdown of what each level disables is in the long-read at site12.jrussell.org/tor-browser-security-slider-what-each-level-disables; the short version is that Safest disables JavaScript globally, click-to-plays media, blocks remote fonts, and disables WebGL. Every Nexus page is designed to render correctly at this level.

If a feature on the platform appears to require JavaScript, that is the platform doing something it shouldn't and is itself a flag — report the page in the editorial newsroom's public-feedback queue rather than turning the slider down to make it work.
