Nexus Market for beginners — the absolute zero-experience starting point

For users who have never used Tor, never used PGP, never logged into a darknet marketplace. Start here, take it slow.

If this is your first encounter with Tor Browser, allow yourself an hour for the first end-to-end runthrough. The mechanics are simple but every step has a reason; understanding the reason is what protects you on the next visit. Read the homepage tutorial top to bottom before doing anything; do not jump to step 3 because it looks like the “real” step. The first two steps (installation and signature verification) are where most beginner credential losses originate.

If you do not yet have GnuPG installed, the pinned PGP-for-beginners guide on the sister site walks through it from zero. Do that first. Treat the verification flow as the most important muscle memory you will build for Tor use.
